Operations Supervisor

Applications are invited for the position of Operations Supervisor on a Permanent Full time basis. The focus of this role will be to assist with the effective management, planning and coordination of the operation in Value Centre Cork.

·        Supervise with daily warehouse activities to ensure all appropriate targets are being achieved by employees

  Ensure skills mix within the warehouse and all employees are trained to achieve objectives

• →

  Ensure all equipment maintained and available for shift activities and to meet customer requirements

• →

  Manage workflow in the warehouse to ensure objectives are achieved and to meet operational demands and customer requirements

• →

  To monitor and manage the performance of those within area of control

• →

  Supervise health & safety in the warehouse and ensure operations are compliant with the appropriate risk assessments

• →

  Ensure security policies are always complied with.

• →

  To ensure Good Distribution Practice for medicinal procedures on shift are observed.

• →

  Ensure the warehouse hygiene is maintained.

• →

  Ensure stock availability to meet customer demands and needs.

• →

  To ensure an orderly handover at the end of shift

• →

  To ensure replenishment of items throughout shift and in preparation for next day pick

·        To ensure Procedures relating to stock protection and minimising shrinkage are followed at all times.
