Responsibilities
~1 min read· Ensure schedules are met daily in production to meet the needs of all BES customers
· Assist in the training of procedures and quality standards
· Address quality issues and take an active role in the problem-solving of the issues
· Ensure Team Leaders, Setups and Operators are trained in all aspects of their job
· Follow up with Plant Manager and Maintenance to ensure workstations stay in working order and repairs are done in timely manner
· Determining headcount needs and recruitment/selection of temporary and permanent talent
· Write/deliver performance appraisals and consistently provide feedback to team members
· Appropriately enforce all Byrne procedures and policies through communication, personal example, and the use of Conduct Improvement, as necessary
· Support inventory accuracy initiatives in maintaining the proper stock levels of all raw and finished goods
· Ensure all assembly operators are properly trained regarding all relevant ISO procedures
· Develops plans, targets and processes to achieve strategic goals
· Actively lead all Lean Manufacturing activities thru daily duties and thru CSM collaboration
· Accomplish other activities as assigned by supervision or management
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. The ideal candidate possesses 5-10 years of supervisory experience. Strong mechanical aptitude is required. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are necessary, particularly Excel
Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged standing and walking. Some lifting (not to exceed 50 lbs.) is required. Some daily computer work is required. Employee may be regularly required to talk or listen, stand, walk, sit, stoop, crawl and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
