About Us Bytelabs, the parent company of Vita Medicare Services, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Optometrist to join our startup and growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems and eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual committed to providing the highest standard of patient care. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment. Diagnose and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts etc Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, ensuring optimal vision correction and patient comfort. Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. Offer vision therapy and other treatments to improve visual skills and processing. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and eye care practices. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care. You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. Excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics. Participate in community outreach programs and health fairs to promote eye health awareness. Your goal is to secure the functionality of our clinic to drive extensive and sustainable growth. Requirements Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school Valid optometry license Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as an Optometrist Proficiency in using basic and advanced diagnostic tools Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Previous experience in leading or managing a team Benefits NGN180,000 - NGN220,000 (based on availability & experience) HMO Supportive and collaborative work environment.
