C3EL is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office (NRLFO) Mission Support Division.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead cybersecurity audits, compliance reviews, formal security surveys, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
- →Evaluate cybersecurity policies, system security plans, procedures, and technical controls.
- →Identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
- →Develop findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- →Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and long-range plans.
- →Advise and train personnel on cybersecurity requirements.
- →Support process-improvement initiatives designed to strengthen NRLFO cybersecurity and IT management practices.
Requirements
~1 min read- U.S. Citizenship.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance. (DoD Top Secret clearance reciprocity may be utilized while DOE adjudication is being completed.)
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level demonstrating the ability to lead cybersecurity audits, compliance reviews, vulnerability assessments, or risk analyses and identify IT system vulnerabilities.
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal cybersecurity laws, regulations, and directives, including DOE Orders, NNSA policies, DoD instructions, and Intelligence Community directives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- CISSP, CISM, or similar certification.
- Cybersecurity policy/SOP development experience.
- Experience with software design concepts and IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated process improvement experience.
- Experience supporting multiple simultaneous cybersecurity initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus at least four years of directly relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in a related field plus at least two years of relevant experience.
