Lead the development of comprehensive livelihoods and food security strategies, incorporating best practices, innovative approaches, and evidence-based interventions. Oversee the planning and coordination of field assessments, surveys, and data collection activities to inform program design, targeting, and response efforts. Lead the monitoring and evaluation of program performance, including the analysis of data, identification of trends, and adaptation of strategies to maximize impact and sustainability. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in humanitarian aid, development, or related fields, with a focus on livelihoods and food security programming. Demonstrated leadership and management experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating complex livelihoods and food security projects in humanitarian settings. Strong technical expertise in areas such as livelihoods assessment, agricultural practices, food security concepts, and community engagement. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with donors, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders, and mobilize resources for program implementation. Fluency in English is typically required, with proficiency in other languages relevant to the geographical context of operations being advantageous.
