Here are some key benefits of being in a talent pool: Linkage to employers Access to Opportunities and skill matching Networking Career Development Position: Coordination and Partnership Officer – Senior - Level (Global Talent Pool) Experience: 8+ years Location: Global Industries: Humanitarian, NGO, INGO Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies for effective humanitarian coordination and partnership building in alignment with organizational goals. Lead the planning and execution of meetings, workshops, and events related to humanitarian coordination and partnership activities. Ensure coordination and partnership initiatives are integrated across programs and projects. Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, including NGOs, government agencies, and community-based organizations. Lead negotiations and development of partnership proposals, agreements, and memoranda of understanding (MoUs). Identify and evaluate potential new partners, exploring opportunities for collaboration and joint ventures. Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of data related to humanitarian needs, response activities, and stakeholder engagement. Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and program planning. Lead the implementation of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact of partnership initiatives. Develop and facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff and partners on coordination and partnership best practices. Mentor and support junior team members in enhancing their skills and knowledge in coordination and partnership areas. Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization. Represent the organization in high-level coordination meetings and partnership forums. Advocate for the organization's interests and priorities in coordination and partnership activities. Work collaboratively with other senior leaders to advance the organization's strategic objectives.and resources to enhance staff skills and knowledge in grants management, finance, and budgeting. Requirements Core Competencies Strategic Thinking Leadership Communication Problem-Solving Cultural Competence Technical Competencies Project Management Data Analysis and Visualization Relationship Management Digital Literacy Language Skills Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in international relations, humanitarian studies, development, or related field; Master's degree preferred. At least 8+ years of experience in humanitarian coordination and partnership roles, with progressive responsibility. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful partnership strategies and initiatives. In-depth knowledge of humanitarian principles, standards, and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages would be an advantage. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
