Nursing Adjunct Faculty support student achievement of course objectives while modeling Arizona College of Nursing’s values of Passion, Adaptability, Accountability, Integrity, and Excellence. 

 

Responsibilities may include: 

• →Teach and evaluate students in a clinical setting; lab/simulation and/or didactic opportunities may be available on occasion
• →Create an engaging learning environment that supports academic progression and professional socialization
• →Assess student learning, provide timely feedback, and support remediation of at-risk students
• →Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on curriculum delivery, student success plans, and program evaluation 
• →Maintain accurate student and clinical documentation and comply with FERPA and college policies
• →Communicate professionally with students, faculty, and clinical partners
• →Attend required orientations, faculty meetings, and clinical site briefings 

Additional expectations: 

• →Coach students on leadership, ethics, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism 
• →Connect students with campus resources to support success 
• →Perform other duties as assigned 

• Master’s- and/or doctorate-level nursing degree 
• 3+ years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience
• Flexibility to teach clinicals required; flexibility to teach labs and/or didactic courses in other areas of the nursing curriculum is strongly preferred.
