Responsibilities

Nursing Adjunct Faculty support student achievement of course objectives while modeling Arizona College of Nursing’s values of Passion, Adaptability, Accountability, Integrity, and Excellence.
Responsibilities may include:
- →Teach and evaluate students in a clinical setting; lab/simulation and/or didactic opportunities may be available on occasion
- →Create an engaging learning environment that supports academic progression and professional socialization
- →Assess student learning, provide timely feedback, and support remediation of at-risk students
- →Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on curriculum delivery, student success plans, and program evaluation
- →Maintain accurate student and clinical documentation and comply with FERPA and college policies
- →Communicate professionally with students, faculty, and clinical partners
- →Attend required orientations, faculty meetings, and clinical site briefings
Additional expectations:
- →Coach students on leadership, ethics, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism
- →Connect students with campus resources to support success
- →Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
~1 min read- Master’s- and/or doctorate-level nursing degree
- 3+ years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience
- Flexibility to teach clinicals required; flexibility to teach labs and/or didactic courses in other areas of the nursing curriculum is strongly preferred.
