Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law seeks an Assistant Director for undergraduate Recruitment, Outreach, & Engagement. The position supports Kline’s new undergraduate Law major; one of only about a half-dozen such programs in the United States.

The Undergraduate Law (UGLaw) program is looking for an experienced admissions professional who will work collaboratively with Law School and University offices to design and implement marketing strategies and recruitment events. The Assistant Director will help translate our cutting-edge program for prospective students and families at events, and bring creative ideas to recruitment, outreach, and student engagement. The successful candidate will also expand Kline’s circle of alumni, employers, and friends interested in supporting undergraduate education in law, fostering greater visibility and connection for undergraduates both within and outside Drexel and Kline.

In just four years Kline’s Undergrad Law program has become one of Drexel’s largest social science majors (and minors!). Experience and ability to connect effectively with a diverse student body is critical: about 60% of our majors are students of color, +60% identify as women, about half our majors are first-generation college students, and about half are from low-income families. We look forward to meeting candidates who thrive in a team environment, have a great sense of humor, and are eager to help recruit, retain, and support our high-achieving students.

Please note that while we support hybrid schedules (on campus 4 days a week) and flex time, this position does regularly require staffing events held on Fridays, weekends, and evenings. However the position does not require extensive travel.

Please make sure you upload a résumé and cover letter when submitting your application. Applications without a cover letter are unlikely to move forward in the hiring process. Your materials will be reviewed by a human, not AI.
