Every person who walks through our doors has a story. Some are taking their first steps towards change. Others are returning after setbacks. All deserve to be met with compassion, respect and the opportunity to build a healthier future.

At Change Grow Live, we believe that with the right support, people can overcome challenges, rediscover their strengths and achieve lasting change. As an Entry Into Service Worker, you'll play a vital role in making that happen.

This is more than a welcoming role. It's an opportunity to be the first person who helps someone feel heard, understood and supported as they begin their recovery journey.

About the Role

Joining our Bromley service, you'll be a key part of the team responsible for ensuring people can access treatment and support quickly, safely and effectively.

Working alongside recovery coordinators, clinicians and partner agencies, you'll engage with individuals at the point they enter the service, helping them navigate the first stages of their treatment journey and ensuring they are connected to the support that best meets their needs.

No two days are the same. You'll balance direct service user engagement with assessment, safeguarding, partnership working and administration, helping to create positive experiences that encourage people to remain engaged in treatment.

We're looking for someone who is motivated by making a difference and who understands the importance of building positive relationships from the very first interaction.

You'll bring:

  • Experience working with vulnerable adults, communities or individuals facing complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • The ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A genuine passion for helping people make positive and sustainable changes in their lives.

Experience within substance misuse, mental health, criminal justice, housing, homelessness, healthcare or community support services would be advantageous.
