We’re currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our open 1st Shift Forklift Operator position in New Paltz, NY.

Viking Packaging is looking to fill an open Forklift Operator position in New Paltz, NY. The selected individual will load and unload products throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner as well as provide customer service when necessary.

Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

→Loading and unloading products throughout the warehouse
→Maintaining warehouse storage and cleanliness

Requirements

Qualifications:The ideal candidate will 2 to 4 years of prior forklift experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We take pride in giving our employees the opportunity to grow and develop, so we encourage all candidates to apply!

2 to 4 years of previous forklift driving expereince
Expereince driving 3 peddle, sit down, propane lifts
Must have exceptional productivity and communication skills
Forklift certification is not required, but is preferred
Previous scan gun system experience preferred
Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
