You understand the science behind sea surface carbon flux measurements and you've sat in rooms with international delegates hashing out observing system standards. You apply expert and highly specialized knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze data, and develop conclusions and strategies—and you lead project teams to get things done. We're looking for two professionals like you to support NOAA's GOMO and OAP programs by leading complex technical work streams including international partnerships, global ocean observing system management, stakeholder network coordination, and data strategy. Your work will directly advance the programs' mission of understanding and communicating the state of our global ocean

Responsibilities

→Primary location: NOAA Silver Spring Metro Center (SSMC), 1315 East-West Highway, Silver Spring, MD 20910. This position is eligible for remote work with travel as needed to the above location.
→All work activities are eligible for telework or remote performance
→Travel required, including at-sea deployments on NOAA vessels and national/international coordination meetings; all travel pre-approved by COR
