Hospice Volunteer

We are seeking Hospice Volunteers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide comfort, support, and companionship to individuals who are in the final stages of their lives, a task both vital and rewarding. This is a non-paid volunteer position.

• →You will be an essential part of our team
• →Providing companionship and emotional support to patients.
• →Assisting with activities such as reading, conversation, playing music, or simply being present to comfort the patient.
• →Accompanying patients on walks or outings if appropriate and desired.
• →Adhering to hospice policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are in good physical health
• You are able to pass a background check
• You have transportation
• requires a compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to provide comfort in challenging situations
