Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Works under general supervision in transporting patients from the nursing unit to the Imaging Department for necessary examinations.
- →Lifts or transfers patients to carts or wheelchairs (may assist Radiologic Tech in transferring or lifting patients onto exam tables).
- →Attends to the needs of the patient while in the Imaging Department.
- →Assists in the file room and darkroom as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to read, write and record data well enough to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of basic department procedures which is normally acquired through completion of an elementary (8 grades) education.
- Two weeks on-the-job training is required prior to assuming full responsibilities.
