• →Assist patrons with signing in to the pool.
• →Supervise the patrons as they utilize the pool.
• →Be fully aware and attentive at all times while on duty.
• →Control and report unruly behavior of individuals not adhering to behavior pool protocols
• →Immediately provide rescue in the event of drowning or swimming incidents.
• →Ability to perform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situations.
• →Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene.
• →Maintain a clean pool deck, and furniture to ensure safety from any damages.
• →Assist patrons with open swim, swim lessons and pool parties.
• →Check safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance.
• →Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment, Fair Housing and LMH Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.

• Must be able to successfully complete American Red Cross Lifeguarding, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Title 22 and CPR for the Professional Rescuer courses.
• Must be able to successfully complete a 300 yard swim, two minute tread without using arms and a brick retrieval.
• Maintain satisfactory knowledge on all skills throughout the season.
• Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, managers, vendors or residents sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give or receive work direction.
• Basic computer skills (able to operate mobile device, PC).
• Must possess a positive and professional demeanour in all interactions, under all circumstances.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.
• Ability to independently lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, chemicals, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
• Must be willing to work indoor/outdoor environments, in all weather conditions, and potentially hazardous conditions.

Pay Range is $15.00 - $17.00 Hourly
