We have a rewarding opportunity available for a Community Navigator to join the team within our Cambridgeshire Navigators Service.

The team use their local knowledge to link people in with services and use their knowledge and expertise to provide advice, information, guidance and signposting. The role will aim to address the needs of adults in Huntingdonshire by offering information and guidance so clients can explore their options.

This position is predominantly home based with some local travel.

Salary: £14.94 per hour

Hours: 26 per week

Responsibilities

As the Community Navigator, your role will aim to address the rising needs of adults in Huntingdonshire by connecting them with local services, community groups, and emotional support to reduce isolation, enhance mental health, and support independent living.

You will provide one to one guidance and information for individuals needs using a range of methods including face to face appointments, telephone support, virtual appointments and via email/text.

Requirements

Candidates must have an NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this.

Previous experience of working with individuals to assess their needs and produce plans to meet outcomes is essential for this role.
