Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Coordinate daily ocean export shipments, including documentation, bookings, and pickup arrangements.
- →Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouses, and other service providers.
- →Prepare and review export documentation.
- →Track shipment status and help resolve scheduling or service issues.
- →Complete billing and invoice-related activities.
- →Maintain accurate shipment records and support ISO internal audits.
- →Develop and maintain cooperative, respectful working relationships with all levels of staff.
- →Perform special duties as assigned based on departmental needs, performance, and capabilities.
Responsible for coordinating ocean export activities, including customer service, shipment coordination, export documentation, billing, and communication with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.
$23.00 - $27.00 /hour
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in ocean export, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Comfortable working with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.
- Basic knowledge of export documentation and billing procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- This position will interact with branch colleagues, leadership staff, office personnel, and customers.
- Must be able to work with customers, vendors, and outside organizations
(With or without accommodations) This position is predominantly sedentary office work which involves sitting, typing, filing, and conversing on the phone.
