Arts & Science is seeking a dynamic Academic Administrator to join the Department of Sociology. This individual will administer advisement for current and prospective students, assist with curriculum planning, course scheduling, and registration; manage the graduate admissions process along with the Director of Graduate Studies and admissions chair; administer graduate school fellowship and award process; process and approve graduations; provide light supervision of casual employees; act as administrative liaison with other school and University offices; interpret and apply University policies to plan and manage moderately complex administrative matters, referring complex cases to supervisor and/or school administrative leadership.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $71,609.07 to USD $75,000.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
