~1 min read- →Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute mental and behavioral health needs in an inpatient setting
- →Observe, monitor, and document patient behavior, mental status, and safety risks
- →Administer medications as ordered and monitor for side effects
- →Assist with crisis intervention and de‑escalation to promote unit safety
- →Support admissions, discharges, and transfers, including patient education
- →Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
- →Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per policy and regulations
