Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Leads complex inventory demand analysis utilizing multiple inputs including planned maintenance, fleet strategy, base activity, RONs, reliability trends, and operational risk to establish and optimize inventory min/max levels across all stocking locations.
- →Acts as a resource and mentor to Inventory Planning Analysts, sharing best practices, analytical techniques, and institutional knowledge.
- →Owns ongoing review and optimization of inventory policies to balance material availability, service level performance, and total cost, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- →Serves as a senior contributor and subject matter expert within cross‑functional teams for sparing strategies and inventory optimization initiatives.
- →Provides strategic direction and oversight for inter‑base inventory transfers, aligning material positioning with near‑term maintenance needs and long‑term network planning.
- →Leads analysis and validation efforts for vendor support programs, ensuring contractual compliance, inventory sufficiency, and scalability as operations and fleets evolve.
- →Partners with Procurement, Maintenance Planning, Technical Services, Engineering, and Stores leadership to plan and execute material strategies for fleet campaigns, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
- →Develops, maintains, and documents sophisticated sparing and provisioning models to support base openings, fleet introductions, and network changes.
- →Provides data‑driven justification and recommendations for initial provisioning, re‑provisioning, and long‑term inventory investment decisions.
- →Oversees inventory validation activities for vendor‑owned and consigned material to ensure accuracy, visibility, and alignment with operational requirements.
- →Creates and prioritizes transfer requests for Material Services and actively monitors execution, resolving issues related to timing, shortages, or competing maintenance needs.
- →Maintains comprehensive documentation and audit trails supporting inventory decisions, policy changes, and allocation adjustments.
- →Leads the development, testing, and implementation of new inventory planning methodologies, analytical models, and optimization approaches to improve service levels, reduce risk, and optimize total inventory investment; establishes best practices and standards for broader team adoption.
- →Serves as the lead analyst for inventory decisions involving the highest financial exposure, operational risk, or fleet‑wide impact, exercising independent judgment within established governance to balance material availability, reliability outcomes, and cost.
- →Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field,
- 5+ years of progressive experience in aviation inventory planning, supply chain, or maintenance support; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience with complex demand analysis, inventory optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with analytics or BI tools preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S.
- Strong knowledge of airline maintenance planning, provisioning, and material support processes.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data‑driven analysis and executive‑level communication.
- Familiarity with IATA inventory best practices and airline reliability concepts.
Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Manager of Inventory Planning.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
