Provide technical leadership and oversight for enterprise infrastructure operations, coordinating cross-functional response efforts across network, security, cloud, data center, and business systems environments. Exercise independent judgment in evaluating complex technical issues, establishing priorities, directing resolution strategies, and communicating operational risks and recommendations to management.
Serve as the subject matter expert and technical authority for enterprise networking and security services, including WAN, LAN, wireless, cloud networking, and related technologies. Lead the development of infrastructure standards, architecture recommendations, lifecycle strategies, and vendor technology evaluations to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
Lead the design, optimization, and strategic direction of data center, virtualization, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments. Evaluate current and future technology requirements, develop infrastructure roadmaps, and recommend architectural improvements that support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and long-term business continuity.
Direct business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives, including recovery strategies, testing methodologies, infrastructure resilience planning, and risk mitigation efforts. Establish recovery standards, evaluate infrastructure risks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
Partner with Information Technology leadership to develop technology strategies, operational policies, service delivery standards, and infrastructure roadmaps. Lead complex infrastructure improvement initiatives and provide recommendations regarding automation, monitoring, integration, capacity planning, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies based on business impact analyses.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and professional guidance to engineers and technical staff through coaching, architectural reviews, operational assessments, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Establish technical standards, oversee documentation governance, and communicate service performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Lead the design and governance of hybrid identity, endpoint management, and enterprise access solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational security requirements, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices. Collaborate with technology and cybersecurity teams to implement strategic initiatives, develop technical standards, and drive continuous improvement across the enterprise technology environment.
Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, methodologies, and operational practices that improve infrastructure reliability, security, scalability, and cost effectiveness. Develop business cases and implementation strategies to support informed technology investment decisions and organizational objectives.

Requirements
~1 min readFormal Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related area of study.
Experience: 7 or more years
Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, networking, security, endpoint management, and disaster recovery solutions.
Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms, cloud technologies, infrastructure monitoring, patch management, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
Strong understanding of business continuity planning, data protection technologies, backup systems, and disaster recovery testing.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple technology domains, vendors, cloud services, and on-premises environments.
Ability to lead technical investigations, influence standards, and provide technical direction without direct supervisory authority.
Five or more years of relevant experience supporting data center, virtualization, backup, endpoint management, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure.
Experience serving as a senior engineer, technical lead, escalation engineer, or similar role.
Experience architecting IT solutions for data center/cloud operations, network, endpoint management, BC/DR, and site requirements/readiness.
Experience supporting platform upgrades, patching, firmware maintenance, restores, disaster recovery testing, and lifecycle activities.
Experience coordinating complex incidents across technical teams, field resources, vendors, customers, and management.
