This internship is located at Steel of West Virginia, located in Huntington, WV. This internship will take place in Summer 2026.

Responsibilities

→Utilize electrical engineering principles to assist in the performance of engineering duties.
→Assist other engineers in on-going projects.
→Perform data analysis and report trends to operation personnel.
→Be in direct contact with operation personnel working on projects that will directly affect production and safety.
→Participate in day to day engineering activities in a fast paced and varied environment.
→All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidates should be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Degree program or experience should include one or more of the following: electrical machinery, power distribution, PLCs/automation systems, power electronics/drives.
Completed at least their freshman year of study.
Preferred GPA of at least 2.7.
