Water Engineering Internship - Summer 2027

As a Water Engineering Intern, you will join our Water Business Line in our Rhinebeck, NY office, where you’ll play a key role in delivering vital infrastructure projects across the Northeast. Working with industry experts, you’ll tackle complex challenges that strengthen community resilience and advance environmental sustainability. • →Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for our various types of water, wastewater and stormwater projects
• →Perform engineering calculations to support our projects.
• →Assist staff on a variety of tasks with various study, design and construction projects and/or field assignments
• →Participate in Tighe & Bond’s annual Intern Day activities.

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Previous and relevant internship experience
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
• Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness

• Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks
• Hands-on experience with office software like Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint
• At least 2 years of completed coursework in a college level academic program
• Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting
