Veterinary experience can certainly help, but it isn’t the most important thing we’re looking for. We value people who communicate well, care about the details, and know how to work productively as part of a team.

You’ll bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A willingness to learn and grow within the veterinary field
  • Previous veterinary experience is helpful but not required

A great client experience starts with people who genuinely enjoy helping others. At Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, reception isn’t separate from the rest of the team—you’ll work side-by-side with nearly every area of the hospital.

You’ll have opportunities to learn from veterinary professionals, develop your skills, and become an important resource for clients as they navigate their pets’ care.

And because life outside of work matters too, our hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no weekends. We offer a variety of schedules within those hours to help balance the needs of our employees and the hospital.

If you’re a people person who loves solving problems, helping clients, and being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to meet you.

Whether you already have veterinary experience or you’re ready to bring your client-service talents into veterinary medicine, Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital offers an environment where you can learn, contribute, and make a meaningful difference for pets and the people who love them.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are core values at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital and Vetcor. We are passionate about building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable working and learning environment for all employees. Every team member enriches our diversity by bringing different perspectives and ways of understanding and engaging with the world. That’s why we’re committed to a workplace culture where employees are comfortable being their authentic selves, experience a true sense of belonging, and are empowered to reach their highest potential.
