Responsibilities

As our Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant, you’ll:

  • →Provide compassionate, high-quality care to our patients as part of a collaborative veterinary team
  • →Support our doctors and teammates throughout the day to keep the hospital running smoothly
  • →Listen to clients (yes, even as they explain why their cat or dog is the best one that ever lived) and help them feel heard and supported
  • →[Add specific clinical duties, e.g., patient restraint, lab work, radiographs, dental, anesthesia monitoring]
  • →Share your knowledge and encourage the professional growth of those around you
  • →Bring positive energy that makes every day better for patients, clients, and coworkers

Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.

  • Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, or current licensure as a veterinary technician. Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required.
  • A genuine love for animals and the people who love them
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, client-focused attitude
  • A team-first mindset and a willingness to help wherever needed
  • A desire to keep learning and growing in your career
  • A great sense of humor and an appreciation for a team that likes to have fun
