Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Partner with veterinarians and fellow team members to provide high-quality patient care
- →Provide compassionate nursing care to veterinary patients
- →Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- →Support safe and compassionate patient handling and restraint
- →Prepare patients and treatment areas for examinations and procedures
- →Assist with diagnostic testing and clinical procedures within your training and scope
- →Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to the veterinary team
- →Maintain accurate and timely patient information and medical records
- →Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
- →Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas
- →Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient workflow and consistent standards of care
- →Take advantage of opportunities to learn from experienced Senior Veterinary Technicians
- →Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credentials
