Carolina Family Estate Planning is a fast-growing, woman-owned law firm based in Cary, NC. We help families plan for the future and navigate life's most important transitions through estate planning and estate administration.

The Client Engagement Specialist is a client-facing, in-person role that combines elements of inside sales, client relationship management, and customer service. This position is ideal for someone with experience as an Inside Sales Representative, Customer Service Representative, Customer Success Representative, or Account Coordinator who enjoys guiding clients through important decisions while delivering an exceptional experience.

You will play a direct role in client engagement, relationship-building, and helping prospective and existing clients move confidently through the estate planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Kickoff, Discovery, and Annual Assessment meetings
  • Communicate the value of our Membership Club offering
  • Guide clients through the next steps with clarity and confidence
  • Navigate questions and objections in real time
  • Support client conversion and engagement through relationship-driven communication
  • Serve as a primary in-person point of contact for clients
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and relationship management
  • Ensure a polished, professional, and consistent office experience
  • Coordinate smooth transitions between team members
  • Prepare and send Welcome Packets
  • Support key touchpoints before and after meetings
  • Ensure communication is timely, accurate, and complete
  • Maintain organized and efficient client workflows
  • Step in as backup for Reception when needed
  • Assist with maintaining organization and flow in the office
  • Provide support for 3S and other client service functions
  • Manage client check-in and check-out during events
  • Provide light support for presentations as needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presence and confidence in client-facing conversations
  • Ability to guide discussions, answer questions, and help clients make informed decisions
  • Experience in inside sales, customer service, client engagement, account management, or relationship management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high-quality client experience
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think quickly in real time

Nice to Have

  • Experience working as an Inside Sales Representative, Client Service Representative, Customer Success Representative, Intake Specialist, or Account Coordinator
  • Experience handling consultative sales conversations or client conversion discussions
  • Experience in legal, financial, healthcare, or other professional service environments
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, scheduling platforms, or client management software
  • Experience balancing relationship-building with operational follow-through
  • Clients feel confident, informed, and clear on next steps
  • Conversations lead to strong engagement and forward movement
  • The office runs smoothly and professionally at all times
  • Communication is consistent, accurate, and timely
  • Demonstrates a genuine commitment to client experience, consistently striving for exceptional outcomes in every interaction

What We Offer

Salary Range: $45,000–$60,000 base
Performance-based incentives tied to engagement and outcomes
Full-time, in-person role (Cary, NC)
Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Some nights and Saturday mornings are required for events
