About Cooma, NSW
Cooma is a key service town situated east of the Snowy Mountains, between Bega and Tumut. The town boasts a vibrant commercial centre and scenic parklands, including Centennial Park, where an avenue of international flags pays tribute to the immigrants who contributed to the Snowy Mountains hydroelectric scheme. Cooma also serves as a convenient base for exploring the Snowy Mountains region, with the resort town of Jindabyne just 45 minutes away, along with nearby snowfields and mountain villages.
About the Role
The Canteen Manager role oversees daily operations as the sole staff member of the school canteen that operates 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for school-aged children. Responsibilities include food preparation, order management, stock control, and adherence to food safety standards.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and eligibility
- Relevant trade qualification or Certificate III
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- First-aid certificate
- Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
