The Lead Outreach Phlebotomy Technician supports the Team Leader by coordinating the daily operations of outreach phlebotomy staff. This team supports the Sales Outreach Department within the Lab and plays a vital role in providing mobile phlebotomy services to nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and other care facilities. Team members are responsible for drawing blood, as well as picking up and delivering specimens to designated hubs located on the East Side, West Side, and Medina, with Mercy being added soon. Preferred qualifications include 3 years of relevant experience, with leadership experience considered a strong asset. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to influence others, work independently, and maintain a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Responsibilities

→Requires frequent standing and walking.
→Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate blood drawing equipment and make measurements.
→Visual acuity including the ability to distinguish colors.
→This position is primarily traveling in nature.
→The average amount of lifting is 10 pounds with occasional carrying of objects up to 20 pounds
→Work requires finger dexterity and eye hand coordination
→Working irregular hours including On-call hours
→Exposure to blood and body fluids, communicable diseases, chemicals, radiation, and repetitive motions.
→Pushing and pulling heavy objects
→Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.
