Do you thrive in helping create memorable experiences while being both creative and organized? Are you looking for a position where you can make a positive difference?

We’re CCMC, a community management company specializing in large-scale communities. Our vision of revolutionizing the industry by inspiring a resident-centric focus is brought to life by our core values of Integrity, Respect, Service, and Community.

In this crucial role, you’ll work collaboratively with the Lifestyle Director in planning and implementing recreational activities and special events for the community. Many events are held on weekends and evenings.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Assist in the planning, promoting and executing of a comprehensive community event and programming calendar for residents
  • Help organize and execute community events, holiday events, concerts, dances and health and education programs
  • Present a professional demeanor while building relationships with residents, partners and vendors
  • Oversee volunteer management at events
  • Manage the use of the facility for Board, Committee, and other meetings
  • Coordinate scheduling, set-up, and clean-up with Maintenance, Janitorial and staff
  • Serve as the go-to resource for residents in party and meeting planning by providing room scheduling and event information, as well as catering and entertainment resources
  • Assist with phones, walk-ins and perform other administrative duties

What we’re looking for:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations or other related experience
  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • Be professional and energetic
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with Board, team, residents, volunteers, and contractors
  • Possess strong conflict resolution and excellent “people” skills
  • Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, a willingness to work independently, and participate as part of a team
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and current vehicle liability insurance.
  • This is not an 8-5, Monday-Friday desk job. Qualified candidates must be able to work full-time hours that are flexible and will include some nights, weekends and holidays
  • All prospective employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
• Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
• Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
• Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
• Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible work environment. If you require reasonable accommodations during the application process or in performing the job duties as described in the posting, please email talent@ccmcnet.com so we can review next steps together.

What we offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision
  • Wellness program
  • Flexible Spending Accounts

  • Paid time off for vacation, holidays, medical, and volunteering
  • Paid parental leave
  • Training and educational assistance
  • Support programs, including Employee Assistance Program and Calm Health
  • Optional benefits including short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and pet insurance
  • Most importantly, a caring team who is dedicated to your success!
