Our Maintenance Associates help to maintain the overall cleanliness and aesthetic of the facilities by performing a wide range of tasks.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Performing general maintenance, grounds keeping, and custodial work in all common areas including:
    • Cleaning community facilities including; emptying trash, replacing pet waste bags, stocking restroom supplies, sweeping, cleaning furniture, etc.
    • Completing minor maintenance and repairs
    • Accomplishing a daily routine of general and preventative facilities maintenance to provide environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient facilities and parks
    • Operating a wide variety of light equipment and machinery
    • Performing a variety of labor-intensive work
  • Provide customer service during rentals and perform check-in & check-out requirements
  • Set up and tear down for all community events

What we’re looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and proficiency gained through training and experience in the maintenance / custodial field
  • A team player who takes pride in their responsibilities and the facilities they oversee
  • Organization, efficiency and the ability to exercise good judgement
  • Be self-motivated, observant, pay high attention to detail, and will detect maintenance needs throughout the property and rectify concerns
  • Ability to communicate with managers, residents and peers in a positive and effective way
  • Reliability, positive attitude, and skills to complete maintenance tasks
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include

  • Lifting and Carrying: Able to move a variety of tools / cleaning equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
