Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM
3x12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
13-week contract to start with strong extension / long-term potential

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient support under nursing supervision while following security protocols
  • Obtain and document patient measurements and basic care as assigned, including vital signs, oxygen saturation checks, peak flow readings, ROM exercises, and daily living support when clinically indicated
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and report concerns to licensed nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean, safe clinical area and follow infection control standards
  • Document care accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare and custody staff while maintaining professional boundaries

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active CNA certification
  • 1 year experience in a correctional, prison, emergency, behavioral health, or other high-acuity clinical setting.
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Comfortable working in a secure correctional facility environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a secure, structured environment and follow facility protocols
  • Consistent, detail-oriented approach to documentation with a strong focus on patient safety
