Licensed Social Worker (LMSW / LBSW) – State Psychiatric Facility

• 40 hours/week preferred (up to 45 hours/week)
• 13-week assignment with possible extension

• Active Kansas Social Work license as an LMSW or LBSW at time of hire
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
• CPI certification within 30 days of start
• CPR certification within 30 days of start
• Experience in inpatient or psychiatric settings preferred
• 2+ years of social work experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, multidisciplinary hospital environment

• → Conduct psychosocial assessments
• → Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
• → Develop and implement discharge plans
• → Provide patient and family education
• → Maintain clinical documentation and treatment records
• → Coordinate with courts, community providers, and other involved parties
• → Provide court testimony as required
