Golf Shop Associate (PGA WEST Private Courses)

Position Description

To provide high quality customer service to members and guests; perform assigned golf shop operational activities; and perform other duties as required.

Golf knowledge (golf operations, golf equipment and merchandise).
Experience with Tee Time Reservation System.
Experience with POS and basic computer operations.
Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

→Establishes excellent member and guest relations and ensures the highest quality of customer service.
→Golf Shop operations: checking in members and guests, tee time reservations, event registrations, merchandise sales and event promotions. May assist in special events and assists with other operations as needed.
→Enforces all rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf carts and other golf facilities.

Must be willing to work various shifts (morning, mid-day or afternoon), weekends and holidays.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more.
Must be able to stand on feet majority of the day.
