Position: Project Coordinator / Inside Sales - Level I  

Job Type: Full-time  

Salary Range: $20.00 - $26.00/hour (dependent on experience)

SUMMARY:  

Profitable selling of the HVAC products represented by CFM Company is the core business of the company.  This position is primarily responsible for assisting outside sales personnel in selling the products to mechanical contractors.  The work is accomplished in an office environment during normal business hours.  Occasional out of office work may include visits to customers’ offices, job site visits, and factory training sessions. The work involves the execution of the complete sales process.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus minimum two years related work experience, or 
  • Bachelor’s degree plus minimum one-year related work experience    

RELEVANT / RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:  

  • General Construction Industry Experience  
  • Plan Take-offs  
  • Estimating  
  • Quotations  
  • Project Management  
  • HVAC Equipment Representative or Wholesale Representative  

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Core duties and responsibilities are described below.  Depending on the needs of the outside sales personnel and the experience level of the employee, some of the responsibilities may be reduced or omitted.  As the experience level of the employee improves, the responsibilities will be increased to encompass the entire scope described below.  

  • Follow company policies and procedures as described in the Employee Handbook concerning work hours, vacation requests, appearance, etc.  
  • Arrive at work promptly and be prepared to commence work at the normal start time.  
  • Put forth a positive, “Can-do” attitude with co-workers and customers.  
  • Be courteous and professional.  
  • Provide excellent customer service  
  • Assist salesperson and teammates 
  • Attend/participate in meetings  
  • Project Organization:  
    • Estimating
    • Take-off’s
    • Product selection and pricing 
    • Quotations 
    • Submittals  
    • Order Entry 
    • Project logs  
    • Accounting documentation for project billing  
    • Project Follow-up: Shipment tracking, IOM’s/Warranties  
  • Develop manufacturer relationship(s) as “Product Champion” 
  • Apply computer skills: Windows, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Sales Office, BlueBeam Revu, manufacturer software and online programs  
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management   

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities   

   

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

  • This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.  

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.   

 

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
