The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages while providing outstanding customer service. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and supports smooth café or coffee bar operations.

Hourly Pay Range: $17.13 to $18.00 DOE

What Success Looks Like:Your Impact
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide product recommendations.
Operate coffee and espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including beverage stations, counters, and dining areas.
Handle cash, credit, and digital payment transactions accurately.
Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
Restock coffee bar and serving stations with necessary amenities (lids, straws, napkins, etc.)
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
May assist with training new team members and supporting co-workers during peak periods.
Address guest questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally.

What You Bring
Prior café, coffee, or food & beverage experience required.
Barista certification or completion of formal coffee/espresso training preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
Knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation is a plus.
Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order taking and cash handling.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
