Position Summary: The Close to Home Clinician plays a critical role in supporting the emotional and behavioral health of youth and families in the Close to Home Foster Care program. Under the supervision of the Senior Clinician, this role includes conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, providing individual and family therapy, and supporting youth through behavioral and emotional challenges. The Clinician works collaboratively to ensure that services are delivered effectively across home, school, and community environments.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical assessments and participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic services to youth and families, including individual, group, and family counseling, in various community-based settings.
  • Support children's emotional and behavioral progress through consistent therapeutic engagement and appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor and document client progress and outcomes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all required records.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Clinician and other team members to adjust treatment plans based on progress and changing needs.
  • Participate in regular case reviews, team meetings, and supervision sessions to ensure quality and alignment of services.
  • Implement therapeutic techniques such as CARE, DBT, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention as trained and required.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in all client interactions and documentation.
  • Assist with safe transport of youth and families when required and ensure secure handling of clinical materials and case records.

Requirements

Education:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required.
  • Limited Permit, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, Licensed Psychologist, or similar required
Experience:
  • 1-3 years of related experience required
  • Driver's License and ability to maintain insurance throughout employment required
