CFStudents Assistant (Temporary)

The CFStudents Assistant Temp Role partners with the campus team to looks after all aspects of CFStudent Ministry, focusing primarily on VIVE events, weekly CFStudents Service with Groups, the Mix environment, and Weekend serving opportunities for students. This position looks after volunteers on the campus and reports to the Central Director of Student Ministries and Campus Pastor. This is a full-time, temporary role.

JOB DUTIES:

• Serving and caring for students and their families at the campus level. 
• Managing ministry communication to parents. 
• Leading all aspects of the Wednesday night CF/Student environment and the Sunday morning MIX environment. 
• Owning all planning center preparation and volunteer communication. 
• Building an extensive team of adult volunteers to invest in our students including Service Volunteers, Group Leaders, and Camp Village Leaders. 
• Developing and mobilizing students to lead and serve within CFStudents, and working with Campus Teams to ensure student participation in weekend worship, the Journey, and other Dream Teams. 
• Working to ensure students from the campus are participating in camps. 
• Serving in a centrally assigned role for MVMNT Camp and MIX Camp. 
• Participate in all Student Ministries meetings and events, including collaboratively writing message content and curriculum as an ongoing joint project with the other campus CFStudents Ministry staff.
• Partnering with the Campus Pastor to help support other departments as needed. This may include serving as a Pastor on Call, serving at the Altar, teaching Journey experiences, mobilizing support for kids camp, etc. 
• Leveraging the weekend to connect with volunteers, students and their families.
  
  

College graduate, or degree in progress, preferably in a related field of ministry.

• 2+ years of experience in student ministry. 
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading teams or volunteers, including recruiting, training and mentoring. 
• Proficient with computer, and social media, and able to quickly become proficient in new technology formats.
• Demonstrated experience in communicating to students, volunteers and parents.
