About the role:

The Project Manager, based in Adelaide, will support the project management team in overseeing the deployment of PhotonAssay™ systems around the world. This role requires experience in logistics, installation and commissioning, time management and delivery of complex technology into an operating environment. 

What you will do:

Project Planning & Process Improvement:

• Lead projects from initiation to handover.
• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines relating to the deployment of PhotonAssay™ systems.
• Arrange and lead meetings and take notes.
• Support process improvement initiatives.

Installation & Commissioning

• Responsibility and accountability for managing the installation and commissioning process, including identification of installation sites, oversight of installation requirements, and local authorities licencing and accreditation requirements.
• Responsibility for product commissioning, including liaison with customers and their sub-contractors, schedule planning, and coordination of on-site and remote technical teams.
• Frequent travel to deployment sites, primarily within the APAC region with additional travel to other regions as project demand requires, to perform site surveys and support deployment activities.
• Support and manage installation and commissioning activities onsite and remotely across different time zones.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of systems/ processes to improve the way in which we manage deployment.

• Share knowledge and provide guidance to peers where appropriate.
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

 General Responsibilities

• Support the ongoing development of a strong OH&S culture.
• Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Who you are:

Essential

• A tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least three years' experience in project coordination or management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in office software like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Able and willing to travel both interstate and internationally, including to remote locations such as mine sites, subject to applicable travel restrictions.
• Attention to detail and highly organised 

 Desirable

• Experience with the mining industry and mine-site operations or experience with civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in a diverse environment.
• Willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks, including those both ‘above’ and ‘below’ the designated role.
• Familiarity with additional office productivity software such as SharePoint and Project
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with additional project management software such as Planner and Monday.com.
