Responsibilities

→Utilizes and operates power pipe threading and other plumbing equipment
→Identifies specialized equipment and components to be used in the alteration of plumbing/piping systems.
→Request appropriate materials, supplies, and equipment needed to perform assigned tasks and secures same from stock and/or procures required material.
→Develops project schedules, scope of work and project requirements
→Maintains work areas, equipment rooms, and tools so as to be operational, clean and orderly, per departmental guidelines.
→Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as assigned and assists any higher departmental job classification as assigned.
→Documents work activity both by written means and electronically by use of the Computer Maintenance Management System, per departmental guidelines.

Requirements

Education: Associate's degree preferred
Experience: 5-7 years of commercial plumbing experience
Certification/Licensure: State of Maryland Journeyman Plumber license, Full MD Driver's license and good driving record.
