As a Management Services Administrator, you provide nominal guidance and will direct, evaluate, and manage the functions of budget preparation, monitor records processing and management, grant preparation, communications, animal control, detention, special services, and provide professional administrative support. Your job is essential to the city, and you will supervise the work of others and may serve as a lead worker providing direction to others. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. This can include proactive review and analysis of management, operational and organizational deficiencies; and the development of feasible plans for successful resolutions. The city needs someone like you with skills in administration, leadership, and you find genuine enjoyment in what you do!
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in related field
- Requires five (5) years professional work experience in police administration, financial control, or overseeing management operations.
- Preferred: Seven (7) years' experience in related field
- Requires five (5) years of supervisory experience
- Must have a current and valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety
- Applicant will be subject to a complete background investigation. Incomplete, inaccurate and/or failure to report information will cause the applicant rejection from consideration.
