Civiltec Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Observer/Technician to support our electrical engineering team from design phase to construction phase of projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality, compliance, and successful project execution by serving as a key liaison between engineering, project management, and field operations.

This role can work out of our Phoenix or Peoria office.

Responsibilities

Participate in construction meetings and collaborate closely with project managers and contractors

Review and provide feedback on contractor submittals for electrical equipment and instrumentation

Evaluate and respond to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs)
→
Conduct site visits and observations to verify compliance with plans and specifications

Develop and manage final project punch lists
→
Perform constructability reviews and quality assurance (QA) checks on project plans and specifications
