Slot Technician

• Installation, maintenance, and conversion of Casino games
• Troubleshooting and repair of games and associated systems
• Preventative maintenance of slot machines, signage, and other related equipment
• Assistance with jackpot verifications
• Current knowledge of gaming and gaming systems through the Technician’s logs, discussions, and manuals
• Familiarity and adherence to all departmental and Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission procedures

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in the gaming industry preferred. Strong math and communication skills are required. A positive and courteous attitude, strong business etiquette, and ability to remain calm when faced with stressful situations is required. Must be able to handle a fast-paced, demanding environment with a secondary smoke element, and elevated noise level. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. occasionally is required.
