Join us in our mission as a Coordinator of Victim Justice Services at Catholic Charities of Herkimer County.

As the Coordinator of Victim Justice Services, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:  

  • Provide targeted advocacy services to victims of domestic violence, including safety planning, crisis intervention, and support navigating criminal and civil justice systems.

  • Maintain a limited caseload of high-risk or complex cases requiring advanced system navigation, including assistance with Orders of Protection, Family Court matters, and criminal court processes.

  • Provide or arrange for transportation for clients as necessary to access services, court proceedings, or other essential appointments. Participate in shared coverage of the 24-hour domestic violence hotline, providing crisis intervention and support as needed.

  • Follow mandated reporting guidelines in cases of suspected child abuse and/or neglect in accordance with New York State law and agency policy.

  • Serve as liaison to criminal justice partners, including law enforcement agencies, the District Attorney’s Office, probation, and the courts.

Coordinator of Victim Justice Services Minimum Salary: $21.00 

Coordinator of Victim Justice Services Maximum Salary: $27.00

Coordinator of Victim Justice Services Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (35 hours per week)  


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field
  • 3-5 years of related experience
