Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving componentry and finished products throughout the warehouse and ensuring production supplies and materials are transported and placed in the required areas.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Move merchandise and materials within the facility using powered industrial equipment, manual equipment, and by hand when necessary.
- →Operate pallet wrapping equipment to provide a tight seal on finished goods.
- →Load and unload trucks to move products to remote buildings or for disposal/recycling.
- →Perform staging of componentry to the Filling lines as well as put-away tasks of finished goods from the Filling lines.
- →Provide help with special projects.
- →Pull orders and load trucks for Shipping as needed.
- →Unload and put away pallets for Receiving as needed.
- →Stage and remove bad pallets from the production department.
- →Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas in the entire warehouse and assigned areas.
- →Maintain cleanliness and good working order of all assigned equipment.
- →Comply with all safety and compliance standards set forth by the Company.
- →Communicate effectively and professionally with others on the radio and in person.
- →Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- →Perform work onsite.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →High School or equivalent.
- →Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- →Ability to operate a stand-up forklift, pallet jack, and other related materials handling equipment.
- →Ability to communicate effectively via electronic devices and in person.
- →High attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- →Ability to work independently and complete tasks under pressure.
- →Knowledge of proper hazardous shipment handling procedures and markings.
- →Inventory control knowledge.
- →Ability to read, write, and speak English competently.
- →Ability to pass an onsite work skill test.
- →Ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
- →Current Forklift certification or related training (preferred).
- →Hazardous Materials training (preferred).
- →Knowledge of RF Scanner devices (AS400 preferred).
- →One [1] year of experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
