Position Summary:
The Site Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of warehouse floor operations, ensuring work is executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with established processes, productivity goals and performance expectations. This role provides direct, hands-on supervision of warehouse team members and serves as a key link between frontline execution and site leadership.
The Site Operations Supervisor drives accountability, operational consistency, and a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
This is a full-time, on-site position and required to work at our warehouse location in Antioch, TN reporting to the Site Operations Manager.
What you will do:
Supervise and support day-to-day site operations including direct oversight of warehouse staff across shipping, receiving, triage, and reverse logistics functions to ensure service level, productivity and performance goals are achieved
Lead, coach, train and develop team members by providing ongoing feedback, addressing employee concerns and supporting onboarding to drive performance, engagement and skill development.
Monitor workflow on the floor, execute daily staffing plans, assign work, and adjust priorities in real time to ensure productivity, accuracy, and adherence to operational standards
Reinforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures
Support inventory accuracy through proper handling, tracking, and reporting of discrepancies and partner with the Site Operations Manager to escalate shortages, operational issues, and process gaps.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Assist in implementing process improvements and maintaining consistency across shifts and workflows
Track and communicate daily performance metrics (KPIs) to site leadership
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse to support safe and efficient operations
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or operations experience
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity. Call center or service environment experience preferred.
Working knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping/receiving, inventory handling, and fulfillment processes
Ability to identify and manage workflow dependencies and adjusts in real time
Strong ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to lead by example and foster a positive, accountable team environment
Effective communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and feedback
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with performance metrics, reporting, and workforce management tools
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed
Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams and Slack)
Must reside in Nashville, TN or surrounding areas and be able to work onsite
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in telecommunications, captioning services, or assistive technology
Pallet Jack/Forklift Experience
Physical Demands:
Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:
Sitting, standing, and walking (98%)
Keyboarding (50%)
Viewing computer monitor, tablet, and cell phone screen requiring close vision (50%)
Frequent bending, crouching, reaching, twisting, and grasping
May lift or move boxes (up to 50 pounds with assistance) and/or use a forklift or other warehouse equipment. PPE is required, including wearing toe-covered shoes
Work Environment:
Warehouse: Work environment is the company warehouse in Antioch, TN. Primarily indoors with some variance in temperature and exposure to changing environmental conditions.
