Revenue Operations Lead/GTM Engineer
Quick Summary
About Clockwork Systems Clockwork.
Clockwork Systems was founded by Stanford researchers and veteran systems engineers who share a vision for redefining the foundations of distributed computing. As AI workloads grow increasingly complex, traditional infrastructure struggles to meet the demands of performance, reliability, and precise coordination. Clockwork is pioneering a software-driven approach to AI fabrics by delivering cross-stack observability to catch and quickly resolve problems, workload fault tolerance to keep jobs running through failures, and performance acceleration that dynamically routes and paces traffic to avoid congestion.
About the Role
~1 min readWe’re looking for a hands-on Revenue Operations Expert/GTM Engineer who operates comfortably from first principles to execution. This is not a maintenance role — we need a builder who has designed and implemented revenue systems from scratch, and can scale and optimize them in growth-stage primarily and into later-stage.
You’ll partner with marketing, sales and finance on the architecture and execution of our go-to-market systems, enabling these teams through clean data, strong systems design, and actionable insights.
Responsibilities

- Insight generation
- Debug and improve systems continuously — you’re the person people go to when things break
- You’ve built GTM systems from the ground up, not just optimized existing ones
- You’re comfortable operating without perfect specs, operating with some degree of ambiguity and iterating rapidly on the system as more insights become available with marketing, sales and finance
- You are responsive and proactive with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Salesforce (advanced admin / architecture level)
- HubSpot (CRM workflows and reporting)
- AI tooling (Claude and Codex coded dashboards, MCP servers, APIs, Agentic workflows)
- Proven experience building multi-system reporting layers that span the full revenue funnel (lead → opportunity → revenue → expansion/retention)
- Ability to move between:
- Writing logic / workflows
- Designing system architecture
- Communicating insights to leadership
- Experience building in growth-stage companies
- Familiarity with:
- Enterprise GTM motions
- Account segmentation and tiering
- Multi-touch attribution and complex sales cycles
