We are looking for an experienced Go Engineer, Linux Runtime Agent
We are building a secure Linux image platform for AI servers using pre-built immutable OS images. When a server boots, it automatically loads the correct image and registers itself within the infrastructure.
This role focuses on developing a lightweight Go agent that runs on every server after boot. The agent reports machine status, identifies hardware, sends health metrics, and maintains communication even during network or control-plane disruptions.
- A Go-based Linux system agent that runs as a systemd service on every server
- First-boot registration with the cluster-management platform
- Continuous health heartbeats every few seconds
- Secure machine identity using mTLS certificates
- Hardware and OS health reporting: CPU, memory, disk, GPU temperature, driver visibility, FIPS mode,
and security status - Resilient retry behavior when the network or management platform is temporarily unavailable
- Test harnesses and mock services so the agent can be validated before real hardware is available
- 6+ years of commercial experience with Go
- Linux systems experience: systemd, networking, boot-time debugging, certificates, logs, and process
supervision - Experience building agents, daemons, node-level services, infrastructure clients, or edge-device
software - Understanding of REST or gRPC APIs, retries, idempotency, and failure handling
- Security-aware engineering mindset around certificates, machine identity, and trusted provisioning
- Good verbal and writing English language communication skills
