Job Title: Re:generation Director

This role is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for Re:gen, ensuring a consistent, gospel-centered recovery ministry that equips people to pursue healing and transformation through Christ. As part of the Central Care Ministry team, the Re:generation Director develops leaders, oversees ministry operations and systems, partners with campus ministries and drives ministry health, effectiveness and future growth while ensuring alignment with the mission, vision and values of The Church of Eleven22®.

Responsibilities

  • ​​Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve Re:gen operating procedures, systems and processes that support effective ministry operations and future growth
  • Lead the weekly execution of Re:gen, ensuring a consistent, gospel-centered ministry experience aligned with Re:gen curriculum and the mission, vision and values of The Church of Eleven22
  • Oversee all operational and logistical aspects of Re:gen, including programming, leader meetings, childcare, facilities, serve staff coordination and participant experience
  • Partner with campus pastors and ministry leaders to cast vision and increase awareness for Re:gen, facilitate participant referrals, identify future leaders and expand ministry awareness across all campuses
  • Recruit, develop, equip and shepherd group leaders and serve staff while cultivating a healthy leadership pipeline through coaching, accountability and ongoing development
  • Track and evaluate participation, retention, ministry outcomes, campus engagement, leader health, leadership capacity and operational readiness to measure ministry effectiveness and inform future planning
  • Develop and execute strategies for sustainable ministry growth while maintaining consistency in culture, curriculum, leadership development, systems and participant care
  • Assist in planning, developing and stewarding the Re:gen budget, including current ministry operations and potential future growth needs
  • Manage Re:gen processes within The Rock, including participant pathways, group management, reporting, system optimization and user support
  • Develop and oversee referral and care pathways for participants whose needs extend beyond the scope of Re:gen, ensuring timely coordination with the Care Director and connection to appropriate care, resources, and support
  • Cultivate relationships with counselors, treatment providers and community partners to expand care resources for participants with specialized support needs
  • Build relationships with Re:gen churches and ministry partners to share best practices, strengthen ministry effectiveness and support continuous improvement

  • Bachelor's degree in ministry, theology, counseling, leadership or a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant ministry experience preferred
  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in recovery ministry, discipleship, care ministry or a related ministry environment, including experience leading volunteers and developing leaders
  • Experience leading ministry operations, building scalable systems and collaborating across multiple teams to achieve organizational goals

Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.

Schedule Expectations: Sunday through Thursday (hours may vary based on church needs to include working full weekends).

The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

This role operates primarily in an office and ministry environment. The position requires extended periods of sitting, standing, computer and screen use and regular communication with staff, serve staff and participants. Regular onsite presence at the designated Re:gen location is required, with occasional travel to other church campuses to support ministry operations, collaboration and ministry initiatives. 

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
