Responsibilities
~1 min readDirectly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems. Communicates and coordinates with indirect reports' supervisors to manage cross-team workload and output for assigned clients.
Requirements

- Strong business acumen and commercial judgment; comfort owning revenue, retention, and profitability outcomes.
- Partnership-oriented and collaborative; brings humble curiosity and a passion for learning to peer relationships.
- Mentor and coach with a demonstrated record of developing and retaining high-performing senior talent.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and pace; thrives in an agency in the middle of strategic reinvention.
- Excited to lead a team through the messy middle of AI adoption rather than waiting for it to settle.
- Strategic Acumen: shapes the agency's strategic posture with clients; connects portfolio and department choices to client and agency business outcomes at the highest level.
- Decision Quality: makes department- and agency-level calls under uncertainty; owns the consequences openly; models accountability for the entire Account Management function.
- Bias Toward Reduction: holds the department to the standard of solving with less; sponsors process retirements; refuses to confuse 'more rigor' with 'more steps.'
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred but not required.
