~1 min read- →Develop a schedule of basic maintenance tasks
- →Complete required maintenance tasks in a timely manner
- →Ensure repairs are made timely in a way that is safe and in compliance with the local laws and regulations
- →Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and structural components including appliances, fans, lights, flooring, carpets, paneling, doors, etc.
- →Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, spackling, and basic electrical or plumbing work
- →Advise management when an outside contractor may be necessary
- →Review contractor estimates to ensure they accurately reflect the required repairs and reasonable job costs
- →Follow OSHA guidelines for safety and the proper handling of tools
- →Employees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
- →Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
- →Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background,
central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or GED with three years of maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Complete all state and agency required training per state guidelines
- Ability to work safely with hands and power tools
- Experience with problem solving against multiple priorities
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Frequent lifting, stretching, and other physical exertion may be required
- May be required to utilize own vehicle or company provided vehicles
- May be required to lift or move 25+ pounds
- May be exposed to various medical conditions and communicable diseases
